Half Time 20 hours per week
Position Summary:
This role is intended to determine need for any p! re-operative testing or consultations as well as the patients’ eligibility for the specialized setting of the freestanding Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC).
Responsibilities:
Review patient questionnaires and e-DH charts to augment questionnaire information to determine eth health of prospective outpatient surgical candidates.
Communicate through face to face, verbal and written methods in order to conduct data collection and input from surgical schedulers, the anesthesia team, nurse managers and the Medical Director.
Use data gathered to analysis if individual is a candidate for the specialized setting of the OSC.
Provide the final decision regarding the candidate’s viability for OCS selection.
Contact patients directly to elicit further healthcare information when needed to support such a decision.
Minimum Qualifications:
BSN/RN. Prior O.R. or Pre-op/Recovery experience.
CRNA is prefer! red.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills: Licensed to practice in New Hampshire.
