Description: St. Joseph Hospital is employing Surgical Technician / Per diem / experience required right now, this vacancy will be placed in New Hampshire. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. The Surgical Technician serves primarily in a scrub role during operative procedures. This role is a primary assistant to the surgeon,! anesthesiologist, circulating nurse and others on the surgical team. Responsible for maintaining the availability of all required equipment and supplies. Primary role responsibilities include assisting the surgical team in preparation and cleaning of surgical instruments. Position requires knowledge of anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
Education:
Graduate of an approved surgical technology program or LPN program; associate degree in surgical technology preferred.
Experience:
Clinical experience in acute care setting as a Surgical technologist preferred
Professional Activities:
Certification as surgical technologist preferred
